Our History

In 2006, our founders Michael Robinson and Steve Biacsi realized that the marketplace was heavily adopting ECM technologies with a focus on improving workflows. With many years of experience in this marketplace, Mike and Steve decided that the market needed work process focused consulting and implementation services and as a result formed InQ Solutions. With a background using the Hyland OnBase product and its workflow application, InQ partnered within the market to assist customers across a broad spectrum of industries.

To better serve their customers who required a broad set of technical capabilities across the ECM spectrum, InQ began networking with other independent consultants with the same vision. By 2009, InQ had established a consulting program to bring the right technical talent to address any customer ECM issues.

By 2010 there was a desire to expand this model and create a more well-rounded organization not only to provide services, but also provide the ability to deliver the enterprise software that would be needed by many customers. Although InQ had much of its work with the OnBase product, it saw the growing demand of web based ECM applications leading to the first vendor partner Alfresco. This leading web application was chosen based on its platform design and cost effective deployment.

In 2013 based on a change of direction with the Alfresco partner plan, InQ realized that a partnership with Hyland/OnBase would be in line with the experience of the company. By the end of 2013, InQ partnered with Brian Schlegel (20 year Hyland/OnBase veteran) as a consultant to help get the company authorized as a Hyland partner and to develop the activities required for further success.

InQ continues to grow and expand with plans to serve key markets and customers with the same integrity which made InQ what it is today.
